    Dell DataSafe was software for data backup for provided with Dell computers. It provided local data backup and the option to backup data to the “cloud.” I use quotes here because this was 2007…the cloud was just a vague concept and the idea of backing up data to the internet somewhere was a fairly novel idea. For context, Dropbox didn’t have their initial release until one year after this in September of 2008.
